Menstrual Health Education Drive

January 22, 2026

Our first Education and Outreach Series for young girls!

After an extensive application and pitching process, Project Menstrucate is grateful to have received over £1500 to carry out the education and outreach program in early 2026!

This program has been launched to ensure young girls have all the information they need while starting their periods for the first time and have access to safe menstrual products and top tips by receiving our Dignity Kits for free.

We placed orders, planned sessions and prepared teaching materials over December 2025 and kick started the cycle by recruiting and training volunteers to conduct the teaching sessions.

Session 1 – 16 January 2026

Our first session was conducted at St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School with 30 girls, and we donated approximately 90 pads along with our self-designed Menstrucate Yourself guides.

“The Menstrucate session was incredibly positive. Several girls commented on how much more confident and reassured they felt afterwards. They particularly appreciated the clear explanations and the chance to ask questions in a safe, relaxed environment. It was a genuinely empowering session that left them feeling more prepared and informed.” – Mrs R Warren (Year 6 Teacher)

Session 2 + 3 – 23 January 2026

We conducted 2 sessions at The Oaks Primary School, educating more than 50 girls on starting their period. To end the sessions, we gave them our Dignity Kits, donating approximately 160 pads and Menstrucate Yourself guides.
