Part 1 of our Surat Donation Drive in August 2025!
The Surat Donation Drive started with pitching the idea of Project Menstrucate to Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) and getting the CREDAI Women’s Wing involved in the drive. We are very grateful to them for donating funds to execute this drive.
Around 300 pads were donated to vulnerable women working as labourers in two local construction sites. They were educated on the benefits of using reusable pads and how to properly and safely take care of them. Through this donation, they were ensured period dignity and a safe source of menstrual products for at least 2 years. Many of them loved the idea of reusable pads and acknowledged that this would make their experience of being at work during periods more comfortable. This drive also ensured that they would not have to bear the financial burden of buying single use products for a long time.
